2. Country Concert Series at Traders Village

June 24: Tejas Brothers Band

Traders Village and 95.9 FM The Ranch will host the Tejas Brothers Band as a part of the Country Concert Series. The concert is free and will be held under the Big Red Patio! Details about the concert and the Tejas Brothers.

3. The June Buzz

June 24

The third annual June Buzz returns to Action Park Grand Prairie. Come be a part of the most grassroots events in the metroplex this summer with skateboarding, BMX and trick contests to enjoy or participate in! General admission is only $10, more details here.

5. Food & Music Festival at Hong Kong Market

August 11-13

One of the largest Asian grocery stores in the DFW metroplex, Hong Kong Market, is hosting this three-day outdoor event in partnership with Saigon Radio 1600 AM and Forever Yes. Aside from the music, those in attendance will get to experience all the diverse foods from street food vendors of different cuisines, such as Vietnamese, Chinese, Thailand, Korean, Hispanic, and American. 6. The Persuasions at Uptown Theater

August 24

From their humble beginning of singing on the streets of Brooklyn, New York in 1962 the Persuasions earthy gospel-infused voices have soared through the echo chambers of New York City Subways to the dizzying heights of the Carnegie Hall stage in Manhattan. They have recorded with the likes of Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, folk great Joni Mitchell to rock’s legendary Jerry Garcia, The Grateful Dead, and now even The Barenaked Ladies. Buy Tickets.

6. Concerts at Verizon Theatre

Maybe country music or local artists aren’t your thing, but if live music is, then you’ll need to head to Verizon Theatre this summer.
