4th Of July in Grand Prairie

Fourth of July is right around the corner and we know you’re looking for ways to celebrate! 🇺🇸 We’ve got a weekend full of fun with free watermelon to a huge fireworks show!

Saturday, July 1

Lots of summer fun to help kick off your Fourth of July Weekend at the Grand Prairie Farmers Market. Make plans to come out early and get your FREE watermelon (w/ any additional market purchase). Offer is limited to the first 75 guests, limit one per family, subject to availability. No rainchecks available.

After picking up some goodies from the Farmers Market, head to one of our amazing lake parks, Loyd Park or Lynn Creek Park. Both are equipped with great amenities, boat launches, picnic spots, pavilions and more!

Enjoy your afternoon on the lake and grab some lunch or dinner at our floating restaurant, The Oasis. They have live music every weekend at the bar and the patio!

Sunday, July 2

Don’t miss out on the all day fun at Traders Village. Experience shopping, live music from the DVA Kidz, carnival rides and more! Grab some yummy carnival foods for lunch!

Finish the rest of your day at Lone Star Park for some live horse racing. (Tip: bring a Pepsi can to the track to receive free general admission and a coupon for a free large Pepsi!)

Monday, July 3

It’s fireworks time! Because in Grand Prairie one night of fireworks just isn’t enough. Head over to Lone Star Park for the first night of Lone Stars & Stripes. The gates open at 3 pm and the first live race begins at 5 pm. In addition to fireworks and live racing, there will also be live music and a family fun park!

Tuesday, July 4

Happy 4th y’all! Celebrate the fourth with the second and final night of Lone Stars & Stripes at Lone Star Park. Gates open at 3 p.m., and the first live race is at 5 p.m. (fireworks show to follow the last race)

More of a baseball fan than horse racing? Come out to watch the Texas AirHogs and stay after the game for a watch party of the fireworks at Lone Star Park. Catch the ACDC tribute band Back in Black at the stadium too!
